What Bestactik is all about
Hi,
I’m going to start off with an unpopular opinion here, but as an industry expert who’s actually gotten results time and time again, it’d be unethical if I didn’t mention this upfront.
Say that for a few reasons, but if anything, it just seems like this “misunderstanding” is the root of all problems out there for today’s job seekers. Really not their fault either, as:
● Resume “professionals” who never take accountability for results
● Career coaches who’ve never landed their own dream job, so they speak off theory (instead of practical results)
● And every other “expert” in this field…
Lead them to think this is all they need, which does make for an easier sale, but it’s not the truth either.
Anyway, enough of the small talk, so what’s this unpopular opinion I’ve been hinting at?
The fact that a resume in itself, likely won’t be everything you need to land a dream job.

I say “likely” as there are always exceptions to the rule, but outside of the 1% who gets lucky, resume services are never enough to help you get the actual outcome you’re looking for.
Sure, they do help as a good resume will get you past the ATS system, but what about after that?
Do you think you can just do the same thing everybody else is doing, and somehow stand out that way? College degrees aren’t what they used to be, where they’re a requirement now, not a way of standing out from the pack - so things have changed.
Instead of “falling in line” and going through the typical process, if you really want to stand out as the best pick for your new company, then you have to give them a reason to like you. Few ways you can do that, but from my own experience, where I actually did over 150 interviews in 4 months - I’ve noticed that the best way of accomplishing your goal…
Is with what I refer to as congruent pre-suasion.
Few things that go into this, but if anything, it’s the art of not only positioning yourself as THE choice before you even reach the first interview - but also making sure your entire message is congruent with what you’re saying (from start to finish).
From ensuring your LinkedIn profile matches up with your cover letter, to ensuring your interview matches up with your welcome message (more on that later), there’s a lot of subtle things interviewers look for - giving you a huge upper hand if you know how to use them to your advantage:
And that’s what brings me here today.
Long story short, after attending over 150 interviews in less than 4 months, I eventually started to learn the tricks of the trade. Not going to cover everything now, but just so you get a hint of how well these tricks worked, let’s just say I went from barely getting a job as an “Insurance Sales Intern” at Northwestern Mutual - to landing a lucrative job as Head of Internal Control at Santander Investment Bank, Europe's largest bank.
Don’t think I need to do too much explaining to mention what this did for me from a financial perspective, but one thing a lot of people don’t realize, is the “lifestyle design” it brings.
From being able to travel the world with no fear, as I know I can get a job wherever I want, to being able to take more risks in life - as I know I can always go get another lucrative job if things don’t work out…
This trial and error has provided me with all the micro-skills needed to get “lucrative jobs” at any time of the year, and because of that, I’ve decided to start helping others do the same.
Might sound a little exaggerated now, I know, as nobody talks about this - but give me 30 minutes and I think you might see differently.
Worst case scenario, you become consciously aware of a blind spot in your current approach, realize it’s something that needs to be addressed before you put too much time and effort into finding a new job.
Best case scenario, you allow me to fix this blind spot for you and make a lot more money every year because of it (while doing something you love as well).
Sound like a fair trade? Doing a 30-45 minute free consultation, in exchange for a potential lifetime of rewards?
If so, then please scroll up, hit “invite to job” - give me a brief overview of what you’re looking for (i.e. new job, career switch, more money, etc.)…
And I will be in touch within 24 hours, to keep the process going after that.
-Gonzalo
P.S. Also, even though I’ve technically been doing this for a year or so, I’ve just started opening this service to the public. Due to that, my prices are the lowest they’ll ever be, so if this is something you’re interested in at all - then please don’t hesitate to reach out today.
